Information Waydar collects
Waydar collects the information needed to provide the app, including account information, reminder content, subscription status, and a phone number if you choose to enable AI reminder calls.
How Waydar uses information
Waydar uses information to provide app functionality, including signing in, saving reminders, syncing reminders across devices, managing premium access, and delivering reminder calls when you choose that feature.
Optional permissions
Notifications, calendar, contacts, microphone, speech recognition, and photos permissions are optional and are only requested when you use related features.
- Notifications are used for local reminders.
- Calendar access is used to show calendar events in Waydar.
- Contacts access is used when you choose a contact for a reminder.
- Microphone and speech recognition are used when you choose to speak a reminder.
- Photos access is used when you choose to attach a photo to a reminder.
Third parties
Waydar uses trusted service providers to operate the app, including Apple services, Supabase for app backend functionality, and Telnyx for reminder calls when enabled.
No ads or tracking
Waydar does not sell personal data and does not use third party advertising.
Subscriptions
Waydar Premium subscriptions are managed through Apple. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
